What is Effective Teaching?

Introduction:

Nowadays the teaching has reached a great diversity of approaches such as: the cognitivism or the constructivism that are relatively new pedagogical models, leaving behind approaches as the: direct instruction or the behaviorism. However, which of these different approaches is appropriate in order to develop an effective educational process?

This question is the reason for this blog because as teachers we have to deal not only with different theories that claims be the best way to teach, but also with different students, colleagues, classrooms, schools and realities.

In this blog we will review some definitions, examples and evidences about different pedagogical models and their effectiveness or not with the students, giving to the crew a vision of how effective the pedagogical models are in order to get the effective teaching.
